Chapter 41: Restraint
=====================
Qiu Si was stunned for a moment by Hai Yuesheng’s cloyingly sweet voice.
“Si Si~” Hai Yuesheng walked up to Qiu Si and looked at her with a pitiful expression. Although she was much taller than Qiu Si, for some reason, it made people feel as if they were seeing a sea otter acting spoiled, softly nuzzling people.
Qiu Si looked at her, then at He Jingsu and the others on the other side, and fell silent.
So she had seen Daidai and the others get together and thought she could also boldly confess her feelings?
Qiu Si looked up at Hai Yuesheng’s wronged expression. For some reason, she suddenly wanted to laugh, and she really wanted to reach out and stroke her head. But in the end, she suppressed the thought. She put her hands behind her back and said lightly, “But I don’t know if you’re suitable for me yet.”
Although she had a good impression of Hai Yuesheng, she felt that this good impression was not enough to make her confirm her relationship with her now.
“Huh?” Hai Yuesheng’s eyes widened, and then she felt even more wronged. “You still don’t know if I’m suitable?”
Had she done that badly? Hai Yuesheng began to reflect on herself.
Qiu Si stood on her tiptoes and reached out to stroke her head, blinking. “We’re not Daidai and the others. Daidai and the others have lived together for more than ten years, but we’ve only known each other for less than two years.”
And the time they had been familiar with each other was even shorter.
Hai Yuesheng was completely speechless at her words. Thinking about it, it was true. But she was still unwilling. She tugged on Qiu Si’s sleeve and said, “Then when you think you can date in the future, you have to consider me first!”
At least, when she wasn’t sure if she was suitable, she shouldn’t have feelings for anyone else.
Qiu Si was almost amused by her childish behavior. The hand that was stroking her head ruffled it. “Okay.” And had this one forgotten? She had said something similar before.
Having gotten a promise, Hai Yuesheng was happy. If it weren’t for the fact that they hadn’t confirmed their relationship and she couldn’t be too presumptuous, she would have wanted to hold Qiu Si and spin her around.
On the other side, Bei Yuan saw this and breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Si Si hadn’t been snatched away. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have known how to explain it to Jing Shiyue.
Bei Queting also wanted to laugh at this situation. She took He Jingsu up to help, preparing the things needed for the customers later.
But among these few people, one was not happy. She puffed out her cheeks and glared at Hai Yuesheng, thinking that she was more and more annoying!
When Hai Yuesheng was stared at by such a gaze, she felt a shiver run down her spine. She met Jing Jiu’s gaze.
“…”
Oh no! This is Qiu Si’s biological sister! Family of family!
She seems to have a very big opinion of me!
Hai Yuesheng’s heart was on the verge of tears. She squeezed out a smile that was about to cry and asked cautiously, “Little sister, what are you looking at?”
Jing Jiu’s eyebrows were tightly furrowed, and she said, fuming, “Don’t call me little sister. I’m not your little sister! You stay away from my big sister!”
Hai Yuesheng was about to cry. Why was there a Jing Jiu after a He Jingsu? Could she really pursue Qiu Si in this lifetime!
Qiu Si came over just in time, ruffled Jing Jiu’s head, and said gently, “Jiu Jiu, you can’t be so rude.”
Jing Jiu looked up at Qiu Si, aggrieved, reached out, and held her arm, still a little annoyed. “She wants to snatch big sister away. Big sister is mine!”
Hearing these familiar words, Bei Queting glanced at He Jingsu, who was happily watching the show on the side. Why did this family talk so similarly?
Qiu Si was both amused and annoyed by her words. “How can she snatch big sister away? No matter what, I’m still your big sister.”
Jing Jiu’s face was mournful. “But if big sister is with her, she won’t be just mine anymore.”
Hai Yuesheng was really about to cry. She knew that Qiu Si was a sister-con. What if Qiu Si really promised Jing Jiu that she would never find a partner again!
Before Qiu Si could speak, Hai Yuesheng moved closer to Jing Jiu and began to seriously tell her all the benefits of her big sister finding a partner.
Qiu Si saw Hai Yuesheng’s anxious look, and her mind wandered for a moment. She pressed her lips together, her gaze softening.
On the other side, Bei Queting saw Qiu Si like this, a hint of understanding in her eyes. She felt that even if Qiu Si hadn’t agreed to Hai Yuesheng now, she would eventually agree one day in the future.
Of course, that was on the premise that Hai Yuesheng didn’t change her mind.
The next few little cubs’ interactions were still quite harmonious. But when they went home in the afternoon, Qiu Si saw her mothers sitting in the living room and knew that they must have found out what had happened in the coffee shop.
She didn’t blame Bei Yuan for telling them. After all, at her age, there were indeed many things to worry about.
“Mom, please don’t blame big sister. Big sister didn’t agree to that person!” However, their appearance scared Jing Jiu, who thought they were going to punish her big sister.
Hearing her little daughter’s tearful voice, Jing Shiyue was puzzled for a moment. Was she that scary? She hadn’t shown any bad expression to the two little cubs at home!
Qiu Shuhuai pulled her little daughter into her arms, wiped her tears, and said gently, “How could Moms blame big sister? We all know.”
Qiu Si sat across from them and said softly, “Mom, Mommy, I do have a good impression of her, but I feel that this good impression is not enough to make me get together with her, so I didn’t agree to her.”
Hearing her big daughter say that she had a good impression of another little cub, Jing Shiyue’s eyes widened in anger. Of course, this anger was not directed at Qiu Si, but at the little cub who was trying to snatch her own daughter!
Qiu Shuhuai sighed softly. “Si Si, Mommy is just worried that you will follow in my and your mother’s footsteps.”
Back then, they had missed several lifetimes and suffered for several lifetimes because of the difference between humans and demons.
Hai Yuesheng, this child, was quite good from what they knew. Plus, they had added her mothers’ contact information back then, and they would occasionally get closer. After so many contacts, her family environment was also good. It was a loving family.
Qiu Si scratched her face, a little embarrassed. “Mom, Mommy, did I forget to tell you? Hai Yuesheng is actually a demon too.”
“She’s a sea otter.”
Jing Shiyue was speechless.
Qiu Shuhuai was speechless.
So, the worry was completely unnecessary?
But Jing Shiyue was still angry! In her view, no one was worthy of her own little cub!
But her own little cub had said she had a good impression of the other person. Jing Shiyue couldn’t say that the person was not worthy, which made her feel extremely aggrieved!
And obviously, Qiu Shuhuai knew her partner very well. She patted her arm and comforted her, “They’re not together yet, are they? We can get to know them more in the future.”
Jing Shiyue snorted coldly and said to Qiu Si, “You must not agree to the other person easily. What is easily obtained will not be cherished in the future.”
Qiu Shuhuai chuckled softly and didn’t contradict her partner.
Hearing her mother’s words, Qiu Si blinked, thinking to herself: If Hai Yuesheng heard this, would she really cry?
“I know,” Qiu Si said softly, to reassure her mothers first.
Hearing her agree, Jing Shiyue finally seemed to be a little relieved and nodded in satisfaction.

Time passed quickly. In the blink of an eye, a winter break had passed. The first day of school was the beginning of He Jingsu’s suffering.
The start of school meant that the time to wake up every day was even earlier than the time to go to work at the coffee shop!
Bei Queting ruffled the panda cub in her arms and comforted her, “It’s okay. Just four more months, and it will be summer break.”
“Summer break is only two months!” she said miserably.
Bei Queting pressed her lips together, suddenly wanting to laugh. In the end, she didn’t laugh out loud and ruffled her head. “You’ll get used to waking up after a while.”
He Jingsu was speechless. So perfunctory!
Bei Queting helped her stretch, held her, and went to wash up together. Although they were dating, apart from a few more kisses every day, there were no other major changes.
This also led He Jingsu to a realization: So she and Beibei had been dating since they were little!
On the first day of school, He Ying and the others naturally got up early, planning to send the two of them to school together later.
The family ate breakfast. In other families, they might be reminding them to study hard and not cause trouble at school. But in this family, He Ying and the others didn’t have to worry about the two little cubs’ studies at all. In terms of studying, their self-discipline was so high that they themselves would feel ashamed.
After sending the little cubs to school, He Ying and Jing Dan looked at each other, as if they had thrown away some burden. They high-fived, drove home, and then teleported to another city, planning to enjoy their own world.
The two who had been thrown at the school looked at the once again vibrant campus, and He Jingsu sighed deeply.
“What are you sighing for!” A hand came from the side and patted He Jingsu on the back. Then Zhou Li’s bright, smiling face appeared in their sight.
He Jingsu looked at her listlessly, sighed again, and didn’t say anything.
Zhou Li’s questioning gaze fell on Bei Queting.
Bei Queting smiled faintly. “Back-to-school syndrome.”
Zhou Li was speechless.
After a moment of speechlessness, she immediately moved closer, gossiping, and asked mysteriously, “You two, is there something going on?”
She had added these two’s contact information. For the entire winter break, the various pictures that He Jingsu had posted on her social media were basically all related to Bei Queting. The two of them were so close! The pink bubbles were overflowing from the screen. If they said there was nothing, she wouldn’t believe it even if she were beaten to death!
“Haven’t you already guessed?” Bei Queting said softly.
“!!!”
Really!
Zhou Li was satisfied now. She patted He Jingsu’s shoulder. “Comrade, well done!”
The CP she was shipping was real!
He Jingsu huffed softly and held Bei Queting’s arm in her arms, as if to say, Don’t even think about snatching her away.
And this appearance of theirs, if you were to say who disliked it the most, it would naturally be the dean of students.
The dean of students was standing not far from them, watching them date as if no one else were around, so angry that her eyes widened. She also had these two little cubs’ contact information and had also seen from the pictures on their social media that their relationship was not simple. These two were dating and showing off their affection, and they didn’t even block the teachers!
Too arrogant! Too blatant!
She walked up to the two of them, looked down at the two girls, but suddenly she couldn’t say anything too harsh. The school certainly did not support puppy love, but the most outrageous thing about these two was: their parents didn’t care!
And it was not difficult to see that the parents also knew about their relationship and were supportive!
“You two, be a little more restrained at school, you know!” the dean of students frowned. The parents didn’t care, and if the school came to break them up, it would look like they were being nosy.
He Jingsu looked up at the dean of students and asked, very strangely, “If we’re restrained, how will they know that Beibei and I are dating? What if they still want to snatch my Beibei?”
The dean of students was speechless. She looked at Bei Queting in shock. Such a childish possessiveness, and Bei Queting was still indulging her?!
Bei Queting gave her an embarrassed smile. “Teacher, Daidai and I will definitely not affect our studies, nor will we affect the studies of other students.”
But as for being restrained, she didn’t mention it at all.
The dean of students was speechless.
She couldn’t control them! They had all rebelled!
He Jingsu looked at the angry dean of students and scratched her head, bewildered. She asked Bei Queting, “Beibei, why did she suddenly come and then suddenly leave?”
From the looks of it, she seemed a little unhappy.
Bei Queting silently glanced at her and let out a low laugh.
Daidai really had the ability to drive people to death with anger.
