Chapter 69: A New Power
Yu Keke looked at the pink-haired girl, then at Yun Keke, who was sitting silently beside her, still processing the shocking news.
“Are you really big sister’s daughter?”
“Genuine and authentic. I might not be as pretty as Mom yet, but I’m still a beautiful girl~”
Luo Miaomiao stuck out her tongue and made a peace sign. Her playful cuteness put Yu Keke at ease. After all, the girl’s pink hair and eyes were so much like Luo Yuxi’s.
“If you’re from the future, then I must have become big sister’s wife, right…?”
Yu Keke smiled, stroking Luo Miaomiao’s head. Despite the height difference, the scene was strangely harmonious, Luo Miaomiao leaning into the touch.
“Little Yu Mommy believes me so easily? I’m so touched~”
“It’s big sister, after all. Nothing she does is surprising…”
“Sob, Yun Mommy still suspected me of being an enemy, but Little Yu Mommy is so kind~”
Luo Miaomiao hugged Yu Keke, her fake tears and pitiful act making Yu Keke feel protective. Yun Keke, hearing this, stood up angrily.
“Hey, are you saying I’m not kind?! That’s absurd!”
“Sob, Little Yu Mommy, look, she’s yelling at me…”
Luo Miaomiao snuggled closer to Yu Keke, acting like a spoiled child, despite being taller. Yun Keke was about to discipline her future daughter when she saw Yu Keke’s disapproving look.
“Little Yun, don’t be like that, you’ll scare Miaomiao…”
“Hehe, Little Yu Mommy’s hugs are so warm and soft~”
Yun Keke glared at Luo Miaomiao, but swallowed her anger and sat down, waiting for Ling Shuang to wake up. Suddenly, a surge of ice magic filled the room. Yun Keke and Yu Keke looked towards Ling Shuang, who was at the center of the magical storm.
“So that’s what a fully awakened Little Auntie looks like~”
Luo Miaomiao stood up, looking at Ling Shuang, who resembled an ice queen, her icy blue hair and eyelashes sparkling like frost. Ling Shuang opened her eyes, her gaze as cold and clear as glacial ice.
“She’s gotten stronger. If she faints a few more times, will she break through to 2nd Order?”
As the storm subsided, Ling Shuang landed on the ground, her clothes transformed: a crown of ice crystals, a beautiful light blue dress, and crystal-like high heels.
“Why does she get a costume change when she levels up? This world is so unfair…”
“It’s just her witch form, Little Yun, you also—”
Yu Keke tried to comfort Yun Keke, who, looking at her own plain witch form, felt a pang of jealousy.
“My magic power is stable now. What happened? Using magic feels as easy as breathing…”

Ling Shuang raised her hand, and an ice spear materialized, instantly piercing several trees before embedding itself in a distant mountain.
“Such power, and I obtained it so easily…?”
Ling Shuang looked at her hands in surprise, feeling the surge of magic power within her. She turned and saw a familiar shade of pink, thinking Luo Yuxi had returned, but as the figure approached, she saw a much younger girl.
“Wow, so pretty, so pretty, just like a queen! Worthy of being second only to Mother in beauty!”
Luo Miaomiao looked at Ling Shuang with undisguised admiration. Ling Shuang turned to Yun Keke and Yu Keke.
“Could someone explain what happened…?”
Yun Keke sighed and explained everything. Ling Shuang, as expected, was shocked. She looked at them, then at Luo Miaomiao.
“Just as pretty as Sister. Now that I’ve recovered, let’s go find her~”
Ling Shuang, excited, hugged Luo Miaomiao tightly, the force of the embrace almost suffocating her.
“Mmm! Mmm!”
“Even though I’m from the future, I’ll take care of you on behalf of my future sister~”
They no longer hesitated. Glancing at the bound Amelie, Luo Miaomiao stepped forward, hands on her hips.
“Leave her to me! I’m from the future, the Sloth Witch’s abilities won’t work on me! I’m the perfect candidate!”
“You were about to call her ‘Little Mommy’ just now, weren’t you…?”
“Uh… it was an illusion, Yun Mommy, you must have misheard…”
Luo Miaomiao avoided Yun Keke’s gaze and slung the sleeping Amelie over her shoulder. Yun Keke sighed.
“Such a flirt…”
As they headed towards the Church, in the northern lands bordering the Witch Kingdom, a swarm of bats descended upon the forest, transforming into beautiful girls.
“Hiss~ I smell the princess~”
A red-haired girl, hanging upside down from a tree, her gravity-defying dress and hair indicating her unusual nature, her sharp teeth and blood-red eyes, looked at the other vampires.
“Lady Lilith’s only daughter, we must find her. And avoid any conflict with the Church!”
“As you command!” (In unison)
The vampires transformed back into bats and flew towards the Church, its barrier glowing with holy light. Meanwhile, in a luxurious mansion, a white-haired girl, sipping red wine, paused.
“A familiar scent…”
