“Mm…”
Wen Zhao learned the skill quickly, and soon she figured out how to make Shen Ke rub her thighs together involuntarily.
Shen Ke pushed Wen Zhao away, the corners of her eyes flushed red, her damp eyes looking full of affection.
“Your tongue is so skilled.” At first, she could still hold her own, but the longer it went on, the worse it got. Shen Yao’s kissing technique improved at an astonishing speed. It had clearly started a bit awkward and inexperienced, which she could handle, but by the end, it was completely one-sided—she was pinned down and kissed until she could barely breathe.
Wen Zhao’s knee nudged upward.
Her black pupils had turned into vertical slits at some point. They were golden, yet they looked exceptionally cold.
Shen Ke let out a muffled sound from the nudge. Her hands clutched at Wen Zhao’s shirt over her chest as she leaned her head against Wen Zhao’s chest.
She sat on Wen Zhao’s lap, her back against the tree trunk. “You little girl, don’t do this.” With that, Shen Ke stood up.
The fabric on Wen Zhao’s knee was somewhat damp.
She chuckled softly and murmured, “Ke Mama, you’re greedier than I imagined.”
The words were very quiet. Shen Ke, still dizzy from the kiss, didn’t catch them clearly. She rubbed her lips against Wen Zhao’s cold neck, her slender fingers undoing the buttons of Wen Zhao’s shirt. “You can undo mine too. You’ve seen it—I’m not wearing anything underneath.”
Wen Zhao lowered her head and planted a kiss on Shen Ke’s flushed ear. Her fingers undid Shen Ke’s shirt buttons one by one.
The skin beneath her palm was delicate and warm. Wen Zhao gently took the earlobe into her mouth.
“Mm~”
Their shirts hung fully open. Shen Ke reached out to hug her neck, pressing their bodies tightly together.
“Do you feel it?”
Wen Zhao’s lips roamed over Shen Ke’s cheeks and neck without a word.
Shen Ke tilted her neck back and let out a coquettish hum. “Cherry.” The words were ambiguous, but Wen Zhao understood her meaning.
Wen Zhao shifted the position of her hand.
Shen Ke hugged Wen Zhao even tighter. Her eyes narrowed in pleasure, like a naughty cat that had stolen some cream.
Shen Ke’s skin was warm, her body soft, her scent sweet and fragrant.
And juicy, too.
Wen Zhao knew. She’d seen it many times, hadn’t she?
On her knees and elbows, lying flat, standing on one leg, side-lying, and with her hands braced against a wall.
Ke Mama’s imagination was rich and varied.
Wen Zhao’s gaze locked back onto Shen Ke’s lips, but this time she didn’t kiss her directly. Instead, she extended a finger and pressed it against those red lips, rubbing gently.
Her chilling vertical pupils examined Shen Ke closely. “So beautiful.”
Seductive lips, playful eyes—mature and full of allure. Nearly thirty years old, surviving in this harsh environment, yet the innocence in her brows and eyes never faded. Pure yet alluring.
She had seen twenty-one-year-old Ke Mama, back when she had just been brought home. The twenty-one-year-old Ke Mama had been very innocent, always noisy and rowdy, just like a young boy.
But not anymore.
Shen Ke parted her lips and took Wen Zhao’s finger into her mouth. Her soft tongue glided over it as she lifted her eyelids to gaze at Wen Zhao, her seductive charm on full display.
Wen Zhao laughed, the sound sweet and syrupy, carrying the unique innocence of a young girl. Now Ke Mama was a greedy naughty cat.
Zhao Qi finished the mission and led her squad back.
As they passed a patch of woods, she stopped.
Zhao Qi called out, “Someone come with me. Let’s see if we can find some game around here.”
The trees in the woods were too dense for the armored vehicle to enter, so they had to go on foot.
Zhao Qi was a fire ability user. Zombies were usually burned to death before they could even get close to her, so she wasn’t worried.
The one accompanying her was an earth system ability user from the team.
She didn’t plan to go far—just look around nearby.
The sky was approaching dusk. Once it turned fully dark, the temperature would plummet below negative twenty degrees in an instant.
They hadn’t gone far when Zhao Qi frowned. “Wang Min, there seem to be people nearby.”
Wang Min stopped and listened carefully. Sure enough! But this sound…
Zhao Qi figured they hadn’t been intimate much; they couldn’t even recognize such obvious moans.
Wang Min smiled ambiguously. “Sister Zhao, come with me.”
Zhao Qi found Wang Min’s smile a bit strange. She followed along calmly on the surface but stayed secretly vigilant.
In the apocalypse, anyone could betray you.
The sounds grew louder. Zhao Qi’s expression turned odd. This cry sounded a lot like Shen Ke’s.
Recalling how Shen Ke had left yesterday, Zhao Qi quickened her pace.
She looked up—and froze.
Wang Min let out a whoa. “Two women? They look like they’re really enjoying it.”
“Wait, isn’t that Shen Ke getting buried in the chest?”
“It really is her.”
Wang Min’s voice wasn’t quiet. Shen Ke snapped awake at once. She pressed down on Wen Zhao’s head. “Stop. Someone’s here.”
Wen Zhao’s face pulled free from the soft flesh. She silently straightened up, buttoned Shen Ke’s clothes, then did her own.
Gloom filled her brilliant golden vertical pupils. She should have killed them the moment they stepped into this area.
Even so, Wen Zhao hugged Shen Ke aggrievedly and acted spoiled. “So embarrassing. We got caught.”
Shen Ke snorted coldly. This Shen Yao looked about fifty percent like Wen Su, but their personalities and temperaments were worlds apart. As expected of an underage girl—getting all aggrieved over something like this.
But she had no patience for coaxing children. She pushed Wen Zhao away and frowned in displeasure. They’d only gotten halfway through—who had the lack of tact to barge in while people were in the middle of it?
She peered intently into the distance and spotted Zhao Qi and the others. Shen Ke’s anger flared. Ignoring her frustration at being interrupted, she strode right up to Zhao Qi and demanded, “Why didn’t you take me! Zhao Qi, you’re way out of line!”
Shen Ke’s brows and eyes brimmed with lingering desire, her lips swollen and red, her fair neck covered in red marks, her long legs exposed with clear finger marks visible.
Veins bulged at Zhao Qi’s neck. Seeing Shen Ke like this, she sneered coldly. “Did getting your tits bitten feel good? You look so slutty.”
Wang Min’s eyes widened in shock beside her. She knew Zhao Qi spoke coarsely at times, but she hadn’t expected it to be quite this crude.
Wen Zhao walked slowly behind Shen Ke and flashed a brilliant smile. “Sister’s are super sweet. I went at it for a while, so it must’ve been uncomfortable, right? I’ll be more careful next time.”
Shen Ke’s face flushed red with anger. She spun around and slapped Wen Zhao across the face, her expression ugly. “Shut your mouth! What are you even saying!”
A palm print bloomed instantly on Wen Zhao’s pale cheek. She lowered her long lashes. What a naughty cat—use her and toss her aside.
Zhao Qi curled her lip in mockery. “Oh? Done with your little lover already?” She turned her gaze to Wen Zhao. “How’s a married woman’s taste? She’s got a wife and kids, you know.”
Murderous intent flashed in Shen Ke’s eyes. One hand morphed into sharp claws, slashing straight at Zhao Qi’s face.
Zhao Qi’s gaze chilled. She dodged Shen Ke’s attack in a flash.
Flames erupted from her palm, her stare ruthless. “Shen Ke, what the hell are you doing?!”
The scorching heat from the flames snapped Shen Ke back to her senses. She retracted her claws and snarled, “You’re the one who provoked me! My business is none of your damn business.”
“I just want to know why you didn’t take me when you headed out this morning!” She couldn’t beat Zhao Qi. Those who accomplished great things knew how to bend—so she held back.
Wang Min stepped in to mediate. “Alright, alright. Sister Zhao, don’t stoop to her level. Let’s go—ignore her.”
Shen Ke planted her hands on her hips. “You can’t go! You haven’t answered me yet!”
Zhao Qi tsked. The look she gave Shen Ke was chillingly cold. “Why didn’t I take you? Because I already applied to have you kicked off the team. Starting tomorrow, you’re no longer part of L Squad.”
That wasn’t entirely true. She had planned to give Shen Ke the cold shoulder for a couple days to light a fire under her, but then she caught Shen Ke fooling around in the wilds with someone.
Dangers lurked everywhere outside, yet Shen Ke still had the mood for women. What a brainless waste.
And sneaking around behind her wife and kids at home. Fuck—people like that deserved hell!
Her squad wouldn’t tolerate trash like her.
Shen Ke’s eyes went wide as saucers. Rage filled her pretty face. She clenched her fists, her eyes turning red as tears welled up. “On what authority! You just—you—damn it! Who cares! Fine, kick me out then!”
Shen Ke’s nose stung fiercely. She wanted to cry, but not in front of this Zhao Qi.
Shen Ke wiped her face hard, hung her head, turned, and grabbed Wen Zhao’s clothes. “Shen Yao, let’s go.”
Just then, Zhao Qi’s communicator beeped. She checked it and said to Wang Min, “Wang Min, let’s head back. What a shitty day.”
Wang Min started to say something, but Zhao Qi had already strode off without so much as a glance at Shen Ke.
Wang Min glanced over at Shen Ke—and locked eyes with a pair of brilliant golden vertical pupils. The suffocating sensation of being stalked by a predator instantly chilled her to the bone.
She jerked her gaze away and bolted, convinced that staying one more second meant death. She’d never seen such terrifying eyes.
Once Zhao Qi and Wang Min were gone, Shen Ke finally lifted her head. Her eye corners were red, her lower lip bitten as she held back tears. Her slender fingers clutched Wen Zhao’s hem tightly. “That person’s too hateful!”
Wen Zhao’s fingers twitched. She tilted her head. “Want me to kill her?” What an eyesore that one was.
Shen Ke declared loudly, “No! I want her to watch me become a super ability user! Someday, she’ll be washing my feet!”
Wen Zhao laughed and leaned down to kiss Shen Ke’s cheek. “Let’s not talk about her anymore, okay? We can keep going.” Ke Mama couldn’t go punishing others like that.
But Shen Ke was no longer in the mood. She pushed Wen Zhao away. “No more. Let’s head back to base first.”
Wen Zhao frowned aggrievedly. “But I’m not full yet.” Her features were still somewhat childish; this expression should have looked pitiful. Would Ke Mama soften?
The answer was, of course not.
Shen Ke turned away without looking at her, her tone perfunctory. “Next time.” As if she cared—she had no interest anymore.
Wen Zhao narrowed her eyes. “Okay.” Next time, she wouldn’t let anyone interrupt them.
The lab door slid open slowly. A small figure appeared in the doorway.
Wen Su didn’t look up. “Back?”
Wen Zhao replied, “Dropped her off at the base.” She walked up to Wen Su. Not yet tall enough to reach the lab bench, she pulled today’s haul from zombie brains out of her small bag.
Her big eyes shone with innocent purity. “Mama, new discovery—from zombie brains.” Her voice was soft, her face adorable. No matter how you looked at her, she was just a seven-year-old girl.
Wen Su adjusted the test tube in her hand and looked down. She took the crystal nucleus from Wen Zhao, her lips curving into a faint smile. “Zombies are evolving too.”
“This base won’t last much longer. Time to prepare.”
Wen Zhao smiled sweetly. “What about Ke Mama?”
Wen Su said softly, “Toss her aside. Her body’s no longer worth studying.”
