Qi Yuan took a deep breath. That sentence made her entire brain go numb.
She understood that Shen Ke’s agreement might not stem from liking her—it was more likely the curiosity of a young girl.
The thrill of kissing someone of the same sex far outweighed mere affection.
But it didn’t matter. At least Shen Ke was willing to make contact with her right now.
Qi Yuan lowered her head until their noses touched. Their breaths intertwined as Qi Yuan reached out to grasp Shen Ke’s hands, sliding her fingers between Shen Ke’s and interlocking them tightly.
“No one can refuse your requests.”
With those words, Qi Yuan kissed Shen Ke’s lips, taking the soft petals into her mouth. The pounding in her heart was indescribable.
Qi Yuan didn’t know how to kiss. She simply followed her instincts, extending her tongue tip to pry open Shen Ke’s lips.
As it entered the soft cavity and their tongues touched, Qi Yuan tasted a sweet flavor. Like a traveler in the desert tasting fresh spring water, she began to greedily devour it.
She wouldn’t let go of Shen Ke’s soft tongue.
Qi Yuan tightened her grip on Shen Ke’s hands. The sensation was too wonderful.
It made her feel as if she were in an unreal dream.
Their bodies pressed too closely together. Shen Ke was completely pinned to the bed, and this time, she truly felt how vast the difference was between her body and Qi Yuan’s.
She was entirely covered.
Qi Yuan’s body was like an iron cage that thoroughly imprisoned her.
Qi Yuan didn’t kiss for too long. Shen Ke’s body was delicate, and her breathing was still clumsy.
So when she sensed Shen Ke starting to push back with her tongue, Qi Yuan released her.
Withdrawing from Shen Ke’s mouth, Qi Yuan breathed heavily. She licked her moistened lips and asked in a hoarse voice, “Tired?”
Compared to her own feelings, Shen Ke’s mattered more. She really wanted to keep kissing.
Shen Ke’s taste was too sweet, too intoxicating.
But if she continued, Shen Ke would cry.
Shen Ke’s cheeks were bright red. She gripped Qi Yuan’s hand tightly, pressing their palms together to share the heat between them.
Shen Ke’s eyes were red-rimmed, her gaze moist. Her fair, translucent, beautiful face shone even more dazzlingly under the moonlight.
The moonlight outlined Shen Ke’s features, plating them with a holy glow. Yet her upturned eyes held a seductive charm, her red lips swollen, a flush spreading from the corners of her eyes—decadently alluring.
Shen Ke parted her red lips, panting slightly. “A little tired. I couldn’t breathe.”
Qi Yuan’s kiss wasn’t forceful, but it left her whole body soft, her fingers powerless. Strangely, her lower abdomen tingled every time Qi Yuan’s tongue stirred in her mouth, making her want to rub her thighs together.
Qi Yuan gazed intently at Shen Ke, etching her eyes, nose, and mouth into her memory. She chuckled softly, smoothed Shen Ke’s bangs, and said, “Then let’s sleep.”
Shen Ke pursed her lips, squeezing them into an enticing curve. Her lashes trembled as she called out softly, “Qi Yuan.”
Qi Yuan hummed in response, waiting quietly for what came next.
Shen Ke blinked, her expression twisting awkwardly. She stammered, “I… Qi Yuan, I like kissing. Kiss me again. You can be a bit rougher.”
Qi Yuan froze for a moment. When she processed it, her mind exploded with a boom. Scorching heat surged from her soles straight to the top of her head. Her body heated up, her heartbeat pounding loudly, almost deafening.
Qi Yuan lowered her long, straight lashes, veiling half her pupils to hide the intense desire burning there.
She lifted Shen Ke’s hand and pressed her lips to the back of it. She was going mad.
Qi Yuan released Shen Ke’s hand, shifted her body, then curled forward. One hand gripped Shen Ke’s arm, the other slid under her back. With a gentle pull, she drew Shen Ke fully into her embrace.
Shen Ke was too light for her.
From years of farm work, Qi Yuan’s strength, physique, and muscle density had reached impressive levels.
Shen Ke’s body was soft, fragrant—a treasure someone like her had never dared dream of.
She never imagined she’d one day share a cramped room and kisses with someone like Shen Ke.
Shen Ke straddled Qi Yuan’s lap with her legs spread, held firmly in place.
She pressed against Qi Yuan’s shoulders, propping up her upper body, and planted a kiss on Qi Yuan’s cheek.
Shen Ke whined coquettishly and urgently, “Qi Yuan, why’d you stop moving?”
The soft lips brushed and withdrew, reddening the corners of Qi Yuan’s eyes.
Her hands spread open, effortlessly encircling Shen Ke’s entire waist.
Dark, swirling eyes burned with endless flames.
Qi Yuan curved her eyes in a smile. She had completely fallen.
Qi Yuan kissed Shen Ke again. One hand gripped her waist, the other pinched her nape, forcing Shen Ke’s head down in a dominant posture, leaving no room to escape.
The kiss was deep and intense. Shen Ke trembled all over in that position, pressed back onto the bed.
Shen Ke wrapped her arms around Qi Yuan’s neck. Gradually, she couldn’t keep up and could only passively endure.
Qi Yuan’s kisses were too overbearing, as if she wanted to swallow her whole.
But Shen Ke wanted more. Ambiguous sounds kept echoing in her mind.
Shen Ke mumbled and turned her head to dodge the kiss.
Qi Yuan rubbed her nose against Shen Ke’s cheek, her voice hoarse to the extreme. “Tired?”
Shen Ke’s voice was soft and delicate, trailing up at the end. “Qi Yuan, let’s go all the way, okay?” As she spoke, Shen Ke teasingly rubbed her thigh against Qi Yuan’s waist.
Qi Yuan grasped Shen Ke’s chin, turning her little face toward her own. Staring into those eyes consumed by desire, Qi Yuan merely kissed Shen Ke’s forehead. She wiped the moisture from Shen Ke’s lips with her thumb and rasped, “No, not all the way.”
Qi Yuan pulled away from Shen Ke’s body and lay on her side. Her expression calm, she gently closed her eyes. “Sleep.”
Only Qi Yuan knew how badly she wanted to strip Shen Ke bare and explore her most private places after hearing those words.
But she couldn’t. Once she started, she wouldn’t stop. She didn’t want their first time to be here.
This place wasn’t worthy of Shen Ke.
Shen Ke grew a bit angry at the sight. She demanded fiercely, “Why not all the way?!”
“Don’t you want to do it with me?!”
Qi Yuan clenched her fists tightly, nails digging into her skin, veins bulging on her arms and hands.
She took a deep breath and murmured, “Shen Ke, the soundproofing here is bad. Others might hear.”
In an instant, Shen Ke’s expression deflated. She had no interest in letting others hear her moans.
Shen Ke rolled over and burrowed into Qi Yuan’s arms, draping her leg over Qi Yuan’s waist. She grumbled, “I didn’t really want to anyway. I was just saying. If you went all the way, I wouldn’t even be happy about it.”
“But don’t think a kiss fixes everything. At best, you’re my pet.”
Breathing in Shen Ke’s unique sweet scent, Qi Yuan wrapped her arms around her and patted her head. Her tone unconsciously turned indulgent. “Yeah, I’m your pet.”
Qi Yuan’s embrace was warm, her body hot. Listening to the heartbeat so close, Shen Ke slowly closed her eyes. “Qi Yuan, your heartbeat is so loud—”
The next morning, Shen Ke woke naturally at eight.
After breakfast, dressed in Qi Yuan’s clothes, she looked at the elderly woman before her. The old lady had a kind face, and her gaze held no malice.
Shen Ke tugged uncomfortably at her hem, glancing at Qi Yuan, who had already shouldered her basket.
Shen Ke blinked and called out softly, “Grandma, Qi Yuan and I are going to the river to catch little fish today.”
Grandma Qi chuckled, her wrinkled face full of warmth. “Go play.”
Shen Ke’s cheeks flushed red. Facing Grandma Qi this morning after what happened with Qi Yuan last night felt awkward.
Qi Yuan walked over, naturally took Shen Ke’s hand, and said to Grandma Qi, “Grandma, if we’re late coming back, eat without us.”
Qi Yuan led Shen Ke out the door. It had been too dark last night for Shen Ke to see clearly, but now under the bright daylight, she discovered that every household in the village had flower gardens planted right outside their doors.
Surrounded by lush green trees and towering mountains, this environment was something Shen Ke had only seen in tourist spots.
It was beautiful, the air filled only with the fresh scents of earth, flowers, grass, and trees.
Her regrets from last night vanished. Shen Ke smiled, her sharp little tiger teeth peeking against her red lips. “Qi Yuan, hurry! Let’s go catch fish!”
Every minute and second here was a novel experience for Shen Ke.
Shen Ke’s smile wasn’t exaggerated but reserved, yet radiantly beautiful.
Qi Yuan couldn’t help curving her lips. So cute.
Shen Ke was led to a small river, where clear water revealed many tiny fish beneath the surface.
Shen Ke’s eyes lit up instantly.
Qi Yuan chuckled and crouched to roll up Shen Ke’s pant legs.
A passing villager teased, “Little Sister Qi, did you bring back a wife?”
“You’ve got some skills, snagging such a pretty wife.”
Shen Ke didn’t quite understand the dialect—they spoke so fast—but the laughter made her frown. She glared fiercely at the speaker.
It was an elderly person in her fifties or sixties. Shen Ke puffed her cheeks and asked, “Qi Yuan, was that person just mocking me?”
After rolling up both of Shen Ke’s pant legs, Qi Yuan stood and smiled. “She said I brought my wife home.”
Shen Ke’s face flushed bright red. “A-Are people in your village that open-minded?”
Qi Yuan shook her head. “The villagers just like joking. If I really brought a wife back, they’d gossip behind my back.”
Shen Ke nodded, not wanting to dwell on the topic. She turned her attention to the river.
The water wasn’t deep and was crystal clear.
But only on the surface. When Shen Ke stepped in, the spot under her foot turned murky.
The morning river water was chilly, but with the weather warming, it was just right.
Shen Ke’s eyes sparkled with satisfaction. She turned to Qi Yuan on the bank. “Qi Yuan, come down quick!” Her voice lilted happily.
Qi Yuan had never seen Shen Ke like this. She’d bet no one else had either.
So wonderful, so dazzling.
Her heart thumped wildly. With tiny Shen Ke reflected in her eyes, Qi Yuan pulled out her phone and snapped a photo without thinking.
Falling for Shen Ke was the most natural thing in the world.
