“Darling, do you have anything to say?”
Leigh pressed Shen Ke down onto the bed, her fingers twirling Shen Ke’s long hair, her green eyes filled with darkness.
Shen Ke pushed against Leigh’s shoulders with both hands, her voice soft. “Leigh, what are you talking about?”
Leigh pressed her hand over Shen Ke’s lips, her eyes narrowed. “I need an explanation.”
“Why did you go kiss her?”
Leigh stared at the lips she was pressing down on, her cheek twitching uncontrollably. She struggled to suppress her emotions.
“Baby, tell me the truth.”
Shen Ke couldn’t understand why Leigh was interrogating her. They weren’t partners or anything.
Shen Ke turned her head away, dodging Leigh’s fingers. Her voice carried a hint of frustration. “What does it have to do with you?”
Leigh froze for a moment, then a grin cracked across her lips. She gripped Shen Ke’s cheeks, forcing her to meet her gaze.
Leigh grinned as she touched Shen Ke’s eyes. “Baby, what did you say?” The hand touching Shen Ke trembled, and the fingers pinching her cheeks tightened slightly. “Baby, say it again.”
Shen Ke stared into those emerald eyes and couldn’t help but think back to what had happened that day.
It had really scared her, but Leigh hadn’t asked why she suddenly ran off. She only cared about the kiss with someone else.
A spark of anger flared up in Shen Ke’s heart. She gritted her teeth and glared at Leigh. “I said, what business is it of yours! You’re not anyone to me!”
In an instant, Leigh’s breathing stopped. The atmosphere plunged into ice-cold silence.
Leigh’s lips slowly flattened as she stared at Shen Ke with deadly intensity. Her green eyes were impossibly dark. “Baby, I really don’t like hearing that.”
Shen Ke looked into Leigh’s eyes and belatedly realized something was wrong with her mood.
Leigh was always smiling, always looking happy, so Shen Ke had never been able to read her emotions clearly.
But now, Leigh had restrained her smile. A dangerous aura emanated from her expression, her gaze, and her movements.
Leigh tightened her fingers, causing Shen Ke’s cheeks to cave in and her lips to pout.
“Keke really isn’t obedient at all.” Leigh’s expression turned calm.
She suddenly lowered her head and kissed Shen Ke. The kiss was forceful and ferocious.
Shen Ke clenched her fists tightly, passively enduring Leigh’s kiss.
Her eyes reddened. She noticed Leigh’s hand undoing the buttons of her shirt. She wanted to speak, but with her lips blocked, all she could manage were muffled whimpers.
Shen Ke tugged at Leigh’s hair, trying to lift her head, but she lacked the strength to budge her.
Leigh pressed down on her like a mad dog, relentlessly toying with her tongue.
Shen Ke had no idea how long the kiss lasted, but she was running out of air. Leigh’s kiss was too intense and too deep, leaving her no room to breathe.
The buttons came fully undone, and a hand slipped inside.
Shen Ke shuddered all over and instinctively clamped her legs together.
Leigh sensed her reaction. She released Shen Ke’s lips, only to cover them with her hand the moment Shen Ke tried to open her mouth.
“Boo hoo hoo hoo——”
Leigh licked her own wet lips and straightened up, taking in the sight of Shen Ke’s exposed upper body from above.
“Baby, you’re so beautiful. Everything is pink and white.”
A layer of desire gradually clouded Leigh’s pupils. She never hid her feelings. She curved her lips, leaned close to Shen Ke, locked eyes with her, and laid her emotions bare without reservation.
“Baby, are you willing to explain now? I don’t know how much patience I have left.”
“If I mess you up completely, you won’t even be able to talk.” At this point, Leigh laughed in a manic way, then began stroking Shen Ke’s earlobe.
Gazed at by Leigh, Shen Ke began to feel afraid.
Leigh was smiling happily, but there was no mirth in her eyes. They were too deep and scorching—like a beast’s, icy cold and terrifying.
Shen Ke couldn’t help but shrink back. With her lips still covered, she couldn’t speak, only letting out meaningless whimpers.
The faint sounds by her ear fueled Leigh’s growing desire.
Hot and filthy, it yearned to leave Shen Ke drenched and undone with lust.
Leigh’s voice dripped with sweetness. “Baby, willing to explain now?”
Shen Ke blinked, and crystalline tears slid from the corners of her eyes. She looked utterly pitiful as she finally nodded.
Leigh narrowed her eyes and released the hand covering Shen Ke’s lips. She lifted a strand of Shen Ke’s long hair and kissed it, her face full of intoxication. “Baby, you have to explain properly.”
Shen Ke pursed her lips. Her whole body went soft—her body, and her voice. “I-I promised her last time that I’d let her experience my kissing skills.”
“I ran into her today, so-so I kissed her.”
“Kissing isn’t a big deal.” The last words came out in a whisper. Shen Ke opened her beautiful eyes, her wet pupils shining like gems.
Leigh let out an “oh” with a face of sudden realization. “So that’s how it is?”
“Baby really is a good child who keeps her promises.”
Shen Ke wiped away her tears. She couldn’t tell if Leigh was happy or not.
But in the next second, Leigh pressed her lips to Shen Ke’s. From Shen Ke’s angle, she couldn’t see the jealousy twisting Leigh’s face.
“But I’m very angry.”
“You’re mine. No one else can touch you—”
With that, Leigh pinned Shen Ke’s hands and began licking and biting at her neck, leaving mark after mark.
She was going to be devoured. That thought completely filled Shen Ke’s mind.
Her skirt was hiked up, leaving her legs fully exposed.
Just as Leigh was about to continue, a knock sounded at the door.
Leigh paused for a moment but had no intention of answering. Then came a click—the door opened.
Leigh’s eyes flashed with malice. With quick hands, she yanked the blanket over Shen Ke’s body.
Then she turned her head toward the door.
Seeing who it was, Leigh raised a brow. “Oh my, two rats showed up. Baby, do they look appetizing to you?”
Lu Yanbai and Chi Wan’s gazes fell on the bed. Their positions made it easy to imagine what had just gone down in the dorm.
Chi Wan slowly clenched her fist and strode in first. She looked at Shen Ke, whose cheeks were flushed, eyes wet, and gaze filled with fear.
Shen Ke spotted Chi Wan and called out softly. “Chi-Chi Wan.” Her voice carried a sob and a tremble, sounding utterly pitiful.
Leigh burst out laughing. “Baby, seducing me wasn’t enough? Now you’re doing it to others right in front of me.”
“You didn’t even check if that person deserves it.”
Chi Wan tsked and swung a merciless fist at Leigh.
Trapped on the bed, Leigh took the punch head-on.
That single blow shattered the fragile barrier of friendship between them.
Chi Wan grabbed Leigh’s arm and yanked her off the bed with force. “Foreign Dog, who taught you to bully classmates?”
“Go hole up in your dog kennel tonight.” Chi Wan’s voice was icy cold, matching her expression—brimming with indifference and displeasure.
Leigh’s cheek split open. She poked her tongue against it and tasted blood.
Lu Yanbai walked up to Shen Ke, her smile soft and soothing. “Shen Ke, don’t be afraid.”
Shen Ke blinked and asked, “How did you open my door?”
Lu Yanbai was a bit surprised. She’d thought Shen Ke would throw herself into her arms, sobbing about what Leigh had done.
But Shen Ke was more concerned about how they’d gotten in.
Lu Yanbai chuckled wryly. “Chi Wan is with the Student Council. There’s nothing she can’t pull off.” She touched Shen Ke’s cheek.
“Get some good rest.” With that, Lu Yanbai stood and turned to Leigh. “Leigh, let’s go.”
“I doubt you want to disturb Shen Ke.”
Leigh curved her lips and waved at Shen Ke with a smile. “Bye, Baby. I’ll come see you tomorrow.” It was her way of agreeing with Lu Yanbai.
The three of them left, leaving Shen Ke alone in the dorm.
Shen Ke’s expression changed in an instant, shedding all weakness and fear.
Tonight, she’d planned to hook Lu Yanbai since she’d come knocking. Lu Yanbai was sly like a fox, and Shen Ke wasn’t sure if she actually liked her. But Leigh had interrupted.
No matter now. She had confirmed it—this world’s protagonist was Qi Yuan.
Just now, when Chi Wan burst through the door, she must have guessed what happened.
But no alert sounded in her mind. First possibility: Chi Wan didn’t care. But that was impossible. Last time, Si Qing had just pulled her close, and the alert had triggered.
This time was way worse, yet no sound.
Second possibility: The protagonist simply wasn’t Chi Wan.
She was so beautiful—how could no one like her? Anyone who did wouldn’t stand for her being bullied.
A hint of smug pride crossed Shen Ke’s face. How was she so smart? She’d figured it out so easily.
She would complete this task perfectly.
Delight bubbled inside Shen Ke. She got up, grabbed some fresh clothes, and headed into the bathroom.
She was the villain, after all. She wouldn’t feel bad about toying with people’s emotions.
Qi Yuan was so straightforward. A little prodding, and the task progress would skyrocket.
[Tasker 56417, you’ve gotten smarter.] The system’s mechanical voice echoed in her mind.
Shen Ke’s face lit up with pride. [I’ve always been smart.]
[This is just the beginning. I won’t call on you anymore. I’ll handle the tasks myself. I’m super capable!]
The system simulated the sound of applause. [Go for it, Tasker 56417. You make me so proud.] Lately, there had been fewer issues with the other taskers, leaving it with more time to hang around here.
It had no idea how Tasker 56417’s strategy—making everyone fall for her, then cuckolding them all to identify the protagonist—had actually worked.
But it was the first time the system had seen a method like that. In a way, Tasker 56417 was impressive.
That was the system’s own summary of Shen Ke’s approach.
At first, it had assumed the tasker was just method-acting the role, which made her unconsciously seductive around others.
Like always wearing those black thigh-high socks and crying so easily when bullied. Tasker 56417 did have a crybaby personality to begin with, but she’d cried way too much in this world.
The role was supposed to be arrogant and spoiled, bullying the weak while fearing the strong.
She got mad when tricked, but against someone much stronger, she’d just hide and cry.
Yet Tasker 56417 cried right out in the open, letting everyone see her tears.
Since the tears always came from being bullied, her acting score never dropped.
Only now did the system realize that Tasker 56417 had planned it from the start—using those tears to earn everyone’s pity.
And in doing so, find the protagonist.
The system sighed in admiration. [Awesome. Next time, you can buy snacks with your own points.]
[Let’s hit a cheaper supermarket next time.]
Shen Ke worked shampoo into her hair. [Hmph, you’ll still need me in the end. You’re useless, System.]
[Once I have points, we’re going to that supermarket. That dog looked down on me so much—I’ll slap those points right in its face!]
Shen Ke still held a grudge against that supermarket’s dog system—the one that had knocked over her eggs.
She was super petty like that!
