In Hundred Beast City, one could see both humans and Demon Cultivators. This scene of humans and demons coexisting in harmony was incredibly rare to see elsewhere in the Eastern Sea.
Bai Sha flew into Hundred Beast City just like that. Her arrival was not at all conspicuous; the city was teeming with Demon Cultivators of all shapes and sizes.

A month later, the Heavenly Devil Ship would pass nearby and be discovered by the cultivators of Hundred Beasts Island. And that discovery would bring devastating catastrophe upon the island.

So Bai Sha knew her time was limited. She only had one month.
Within this one month, she had to find a way to get the cultivation art held by the Dragonhead Shark clan, and also learn about the Ghost Jellyfish from them.
To do this, she first had to make contact with the Dragonhead Shark clan.
And to make contact with them, she had to enter the inner part of Hundred Beasts Island. Staying in Hundred Beast City would accomplish nothing.
The best way to enter the inner region was to join Hundred Beasts Island!
Bai Sha had already thought this through clearly.

Demon Gate was a very well-known place in Hundred Beast City because entering it signified a Demon Cultivator’s intent to swear allegiance to Hundred Beasts Island. The sect would then assess the demon, and once confirmed to be acceptable, admit them into Hundred Beasts Island.
It was exactly how the Dragonhead Shark clan, fleeing from the Bloodthirsty Swordfish clan, had come here and entered Demon Gate, thus obtaining the protection of Hundred Beasts Island.
Currently, outside Demon Gate, some Demon Cultivators were watching, their faces showing complex expressions.
They wanted to enter Demon Gate and gain the sect’s protection, but were also worried about losing their freedom after joining.

Bai Sha glanced at the Fire Spirit Monkey. She had seen this monkey earlier in the crowd of demons, speaking well of Hundred Beasts Island, saying that the cultivators there treated their demon partners as friends.
“How much reward do you get for being a shill?” Bai Sha asked.
“What shill…” The Fire Spirit Monkey’s expression changed slightly. Scratching its ears and cheeks, it said, “Don’t speak nonsense. I’m just kindly offering you advice. If you don’t want to listen, forget it.”
With that, the Fire Spirit Monkey quickly turned and left.
