“Goodbye? Why are you saying goodbye? Where are you going?” Yin Sha’s eyes widened as she looked at Bai Sha and asked.
She had never imagined Bai Sha would come to say this. These words were like cold water poured over her body, cooling the fiery feeling in her heart just moments ago.
Bai Sha laughed involuntarily: “Don’t misunderstand. I’m just planning to go out and explore, seeking some cultivation opportunities. It’s not like I’m leaving forever.”
Yin Sha let out a sigh of relief: “Oh, so it’s just like that. Like when you went to stay at the Seven-Colored Shell for a while?”
Bai Sha nodded her head: “Exactly, just like that.”
Yin Sha smiled and said, “In that case, I can only say, leave early and return early. I will wait for you here in White Shark Territory.”
Bai Sha patted Yin Sha’s head with a pectoral fin: “Then you must obediently stay in White Shark Territory and not wander off, lest I return and cannot find you.”
She didn’t speak with Yin Sha for too long.
After conveying her farewell, she left the undersea cave.
However, she hadn’t gone far when Bai Sha realized she seemed to have overlooked something. She quickly cast her Water Repelling spell to push the seawater back, then took Gong Yuxiang’s remains out of the Moon Spirit Pearl.
“Shizun, if I go far away, will it affect Yin Sha’s entry into the Heavenly Cycle Array Sect?”
As Bai Sha asked this question, Gong Yuxiang’s remains gave no response.
Bai Sha continued, “If it will affect things, then Shizun can stay in White Shark Territory.”
Gong Yuxiang’s remains still showed no reaction.
Seeing this, Bai Sha was somewhat helpless. She could only turn back and return to Yin Sha, entrusting Gong Yuxiang’s remains to her for safekeeping.
Although Gong Yuxiang’s remains would appear to save her when she faced danger, the dangers she encountered were usually far too beyond the norm. Even Gong Yuxiang couldn’t handle them, so not bringing them along was acceptable.
After leaving Gong Yuxiang’s remains behind, Bai Sha finally continued on her journey.
…
Bai Sha cast Wave Riding, darting rapidly through the seawater, her purpose extremely clear.
She swam for a short while before reaching the ocean surface.
It was daytime, and brilliant sunlight fell from the sky, a vast expanse of gold, illuminating the sea with bright, dazzling waves of light.
After reaching the surface, Bai Sha switched to Water Sky Travel and began flying just above the sea.
Water Sky Travel was ultimately a Foundation Establishment-level spell, faster than the Qi Condensation-level Wave Riding, but it just wasn’t suitable for casting within the sea.
Bai Sha’s goal was clear: head to Hundred Beasts Island.
As she flew towards Hundred Beasts Island, information about this human beast-partnering sect surfaced in Bai Sha’s mind.
There were quite a few islands in the Eastern Sea. Some were controlled by Demon Cultivators, others by Human Cultivators.
Hundred Beasts Island was one of those controlled by Human Cultivators. It was also relatively famous among the many islands held by humans because they were a cultivation sect, and a very uniquely specialized beast-partnering sect.
A beast-partnering sect, as the name suggests, involves human cultivators cooperating with controlled Demon Cultivators to cultivate together. This type of cultivation sect was relatively rare in the entire Cultivation World.
It was probably for this very reason that Hundred Beasts Island was established in the Eastern Sea.
Currently, the Island Master of Hundred Beasts Island was a Nascent Soul Stage cultivator named Luo Yuanda. He was usually very difficult to meet. The various major affairs within Hundred Beasts Island were managed by the various Elders.
Below the Elders were the various Hall Masters, as well as Stewards, Elite Disciples, and Ordinary Disciples.
As far as Bai Sha knew, there were three remaining Dragonhead Sharks she was concerned about on Hundred Beasts Island. One belonged to a Hall Master, and the other two belonged to different Stewards.
These Dragonhead Sharks were the targets she needed to contact.
As she pondered, time gradually passed.
After a good while, the outline of Hundred Beasts Island finally appeared before her.
It was a very large island. The vast majority of its area was the inner region of the sect, but there was also a city used for interacting with the outside world.
Because Hundred Beasts Island was inherently a sect that commanded Demon Cultivator partners, its relationship with demons was quite good. Many Demon Cultivators frequently came to the city on the island, Hundred Beast City, to conduct trade. Over time, this place had become a rather prosperous area.
“Whoosh!”
Bai Sha accelerated, tearing through the air as she flew over Hundred Beasts Island.
The island appeared lush and verdant overall. Forests occupied a vast area, mountain ranges rolled, lakes dotted the landscape, and the scenery was extremely beautiful.
Near the beach was a city: Hundred Beast City. It was the only area on the island that could be freely accessed. The remaining areas were covered by Hundred Beasts Island’s protective array. Intruding would invite the sect’s hostility.
