Some time later, Bai Sha left Hundred Beast City, riding a large bird as she flew into the depths of Hundred Beasts Island, descending at the island’s center.
This was the main location of the Hundred Beasts Island sect. A great mountain spanned horizontally, with many buildings constructed around it, looking incredibly imposing.
Within the mountain, many Human Cultivators and Demon Cultivators could be seen going about their business, the scene harmonious.
The place where Bai Sha landed was the spacious square on the mountainside.
Cheng Yan’er had come along too. As they descended, she introduced Bai Sha: “This is the Sun-Moon Platform, the largest square in our sect.”
Just as Cheng Yan’er’s words fell, figures flew over from the distance one after another.
Seeing this, Cheng Yan’er hurriedly said to Bai Sha excitedly, “Those are several Elders of our sect! Your arrival has actually prompted the Elders to come see you personally. You might even have the chance to become the Cultivation Partner of one of them.”
Bai Sha looked up towards those figures.
But before she could clearly make them out, a cool female voice rang out from the air: “Yield her to me. What do you all think?”
As soon as this voice emerged, the figures that had yet to arrive stopped in their tracks, then hovered in the air, seemingly discussing something.
“Who is that?” Bai Sha asked Cheng Yan’er.
A look of surprise appeared on Cheng Yan’er’s face: “That voice… I haven’t heard it in a long time. If I remember correctly, it’s Luo Nishang’s voice.”
Luo Nishang?
Bai Sha’s eyes held a questioning look.
Cheng Yan’er knew Bai Sha was unfamiliar and continued to explain: “Luo Nishang is the only daughter of Hundred Beasts Island’s Island Master, Luo Yuanda.”
Bai Sha understood.
No wonder a single sentence could halt the Elders in their tracks for discussion. If she was the Island Master’s daughter, being able to do that wasn’t strange at all.
“Miss Yan’er, can you tell me more about Luo Nishang?” Bai Sha asked Cheng Yan’er again.
“Of course.”
Wanting to build a good relationship with Bai Sha, Cheng Yan’er naturally wouldn’t refuse this small request.
She immediately began sharing all the information she knew, gradually giving Bai Sha a clear understanding of Luo Nishang.
But as her understanding deepened, Bai Sha felt Luo Nishang was a bit strange.
Hundred Beasts Island cultivated through beast partnership, yet Luo Nishang, as the daughter of the Island Master, had never cooperated with any Demon Cultivator. She simply cultivated the Hundred Beasts Heart Sutra alone, making her seem completely out of place within the sect.
Furthermore, Luo Nishang rarely appeared before others, much like her father, whom no one could see for years.
The difference was that as the Island Master, Luo Yuanda wouldn’t be forgotten by everyone even if he didn’t appear. Whereas Luo Nishang, most of the time, made people forget the sect even had someone named Luo Nishang.
Anyway, she was a very strange person.
Cheng Yan’er talked for a long while before stopping: “That’s all I know. Mainly because I’m not familiar with her, I don’t even know her cultivation level.”
Bai Sha gave a slight nod: “This is enough. Thank you very much.”

This was Luo Nishang.
After landing, Luo Nishang looked at Bai Sha and said, “My name is Luo Nishang. From now on, I am your Cultivation Partner.”
Bai Sha nodded: “Okay.”
“Then let’s go to my residence.” Luo Nishang said as she stepped forward.
She took hold of Bai Sha’s pectoral fin and flew directly, carrying Bai Sha away with the wind.
Left behind, Cheng Yan’er sighed with some emotion.
“So she never had a Cultivation Partner before because she thought the others weren’t good enough? Now that one with a Supreme Dao Foundation comes along, she immediately steps forward.” Cheng Yan’er was incredibly envious.
If her own Cultivation Partner had a Supreme Dao Foundation, it would likewise provide her with enormous help.

Luo Nishang’s residence wasn’t in the dense cluster of buildings, but deep in the back mountain.

As they flew in, the sound of the waterfall outside immediately became inaudible. Clearly, a soundproofing array was in place.
Inside the large main hall, Luo Nishang stopped and looked at Bai Sha.
Bai Sha also looked at Luo Nishang.
After waiting a moment, Luo Nishang said, “You are a Great White Shark, so you might prefer to stay where there is water. There is a pool behind this house. It is very clean.”
Bai Sha nodded to show she understood.
Seeing Bai Sha didn’t say anything, Luo Nishang thought for a moment, then added, “I will later give you the Demon Cultivator’s portion of the Hundred Beasts Heart Sutra. Once you’ve grasped that part, we can establish our Bonded Partner relationship.”
The Hundred Beasts Heart Sutra was divided into a Human Cultivator portion and a Demon Cultivator portion. Once both parties mastered their respective parts, they could cultivate together. It was a mutually beneficial process.
Bai Sha finally spoke: “No problem.”
Hearing Bai Sha speak, Luo Nishang let out a sigh of relief.
“In that case, I will go find where the manual was placed first,” Luo Nishang said again.
Bai Sha felt that although Luo Nishang looked aloof and otherworldly, she was actually more like a Young Miss who had lived secluded in her chambers for too long and wasn’t skilled in dealing with people. Beneath that cool exterior, there seemed to be a hint of nervousness.
“Go ahead. But if I want to go out and look around, there’s no problem, right?” Bai Sha asked again.
