“The school has already booked meals for us,” Liang Sheng said, her spirits lifting. Great, that saved her another chunk of “fortune.”
The girls just idled away the day like that.
The next day, Liang Sheng felt her cold had improved a lot. The other three were mostly fine too, except for Song An’an, who had a bit of a headache that day. Still, the principal didn’t organize the mountain camping trip. He’d come down with a 104-degree fever and been rushed to the local hospital.
The students ended up just sightseeing around the city instead.
Luckily, the city had plenty of fun spots their own hometown lacked.
Liang Sheng hadn’t wanted to go at first. She would’ve preferred holing up in the dorm as a happy shut-in. But Ni Sihan had to stir up some mischief and insisted on heading out.
Of course, the real reason Liang Sheng finally agreed was Ni Sihan’s line: “Hurry up—it’s my treat!”
Where to? What kind of place would a socialite like Ni Sihan pick?
She led Liang Sheng and the others to a coffee shop.
“The cat cafe next door suits me way better than some coffee shop…” Liang Sheng stared longingly at the spot two doors down, where adorable little kittens frolicked inside. “Damn, meow~!”
“Cat hair,” Ni Sihan said with obvious disgust. “It’ll stick to my clothes!”
“But I still wanna…” Liang Sheng watched as one of the cute kittens pawed at the glass.
Aw, what a shame! She couldn’t take it anymore—who cared who was paying! Her palms itched. If she didn’t pet some cats today, she’d be miserable all day!
“I’m heading over there!” Liang Sheng broke free from Ni Sihan’s grip and glanced back at the other two girls. “What about you two?”
Lu Ziqing shook her head right away. “No way. Go ahead—I’m allergic to cat hair.”
Aw, what a shame! Petting cats was one of life’s great joys!
As for Song An’an? She was still fast asleep back in the dorm.
“In that case, I’m going in~!” Liang Sheng rubbed her hands together with a “Hee hee haw haw,” claws out like an eager beast, and bounded into the cat cafe.
Haha! Eating snacks while petting cats? Pure bliss!
Liang Sheng had barely stepped through the door when she spotted a pure white kitten with heterochromatic eyes.
“I’m here~ little kitty~!” She sounded just like a total perv starved for affection!
“Meow~!” Liang Sheng scooped up the little kitten and started rubbing its back with the speed of someone single for thirty years.
The cat’s face clearly read “utterly done with life.” What the hell kind of hand speed was this woman packing?!
“Sniff sniff kitty~ sniff sniff kitty~” Liang Sheng squinted her eyes and leaned in toward the kitten’s belly. Now she really looked like a creep. “So fragrant~ hee hee~!” She was one step away from drooling everywhere.
“Meow~!” The kitten disdainfully extended a paw and pressed it against Liang Sheng’s head. But it was all futile struggling.
“Hee hee~ little kitty~ no more struggling now~” Liang Sheng cackled wildly. “You can’t escape the palm of my hand~!”
“Liang Sheng, so you like cats, huh?”
A familiar voice sounded from behind her.
Who?
“Senior Sister An Hua?” Liang Sheng’s eyes lit up. “What a coincidence! Are you here to pet cats too, Senior Sister?”
“Yeah~” An Hua sat down beside Liang Sheng and picked up a little black kitten.
As if. She’d actually followed Liang Sheng here.
“Huh?” Liang Sheng noticed the black cat ears perched on top of An Hua’s head. Her face flushed pink on the spot. This hit her fetish way too hard!
“C-Can I touch your ears?” Liang Sheng’s voice trembled as she stared hungrily at Senior Sister An Hua’s cat ears.
How could An Hua possibly refuse such an innocent, adorable little Liang Sheng?
“Of course~” An Hua tilted her head onto Liang Sheng’s shoulder. “After all~ being Liang Sheng’s cat wouldn’t be so bad. Though~ I do prefer doggies~”
Ahem, Senior Sister An Hua was spouting her usual wild lines! Liang Sheng reached up and started rubbing the cat ear hair clip on An Hua’s head, taking the chance to pet her hair too.
“Feels so good~” An Hua said suddenly, scooting even closer to Liang Sheng. “Purrr~” She even mimicked the rumbling purr of a content cat!
Aaaah!! This was too much! Liang Sheng felt drunk. She really, really wanted a cat girl!
At that moment, An Hua flopped onto Liang Sheng’s lap. “Liang Sheng’s lap feels so comfy to lie on~”
Mm! This pose! Liang Sheng eyed the cat ears attached to the back of An Hua’s outfit. Yeah, they were just part of the costume—don’t get the wrong idea.
“W-Well then, can I touch Senior Sister’s tail too?!” Liang Sheng pushed her luck with an even bolder request.
An Hua welcomed it. “Of course~”
In that case, don’t mind if I do~! Liang Sheng grabbed the tail attached to An Hua’s clothes.
The texture on this tail was so realistic~ Liang Sheng closed her eyes, savoring the feel.
“For an even more authentic experience, Liang Sheng—want me to meow like a cat?” An Hua lifted her head. This iceberg goddess looked utterly seductive when she smiled.
“C-Can I? Really?!” Liang Sheng was over the moon.
“Of course.” An Hua wrapped her arms around Liang Sheng’s. “Meow~”
Eeee! That voice was so soothing~ Liang Sheng felt like she’d entered paradise—food, cats, and a cat girl.
“Meow~ meow~” An Hua meowed a few more times.
Wahhh, she wanted this to last forever.
“Liang Sheng.” An Hua climbed up, her face now extremely close to Liang Sheng’s.
An Hua looked at her expectantly. “How was my performance this time? Satisfied?”
“Totally!” Liang Sheng nodded vigorously without a second thought.
“Then…” An Hua turned bashful now. She sat up, covering her mouth with her hand, and whispered, “Don’t you think performing this well deserves a little reward?”
Huh? Liang Sheng only blanked out for less than a second this time.
“Oh~?” She got it, flashing a mischievous grin. “No way~ Senior Sister An Hua~ You’re buttering me up like this just so I’ll tease you, right?”
“Ahem…” An Hua turned her head away, not directly responding to Liang Sheng’s flirtatious jab. Which basically meant she’d silently agreed.
“Pfft~” Liang Sheng laughed and reached up to grab An Hua’s cat ears. “Hey hey, these cat ears—you didn’t wear them just to tempt me, did you?”
Ding~ Favorability increased.
“An Hua’s Favorability toward Liang Sheng: 123”
An Hua stayed silent, too embarrassed to speak.
She was hooked on Liang Sheng’s teasing now—couldn’t quit even if she wanted to.
“Hey, Senior Sister~” Liang Sheng smiled as she grabbed hold of An Hua’s tail.
