“No way, no way, no way~” Liang Sheng yelped in fright and sat up in the bathtub with a splash.
“Eh~” Gu Yuqi drew out her tone, her gaze turning a little dazed as a faint blush colored her cheeks.
“Ah?” Liang Sheng glanced down abruptly, her face turning beet red. With another splash, she sank back into the tub. Waaah, she’d been seen naked—how embarrassing, so embarrassing!
After Liang Sheng refused the massage, Gu Yuqi had straightened up and behaved herself, sitting obediently in the tub alongside the Green-haired Girl to soak.
They’d been soaking for a while now, and Liang Sheng’s mind had gone blissfully blank as she zoned out.
Gurgle gurgle.
A loud stomach growl echoed through the bathroom.
“Uh,” Liang Sheng blushed and clutched her stomach. “I’m… I’m a bit hungry.”
Gu Yuqi couldn’t help but chuckle. She reached out and ruffled the other girl’s hair. “You just ate not long ago, and you’re hungry already? Come on, let’s go ask Ni Sihan if there’s anything to eat.”
Liang Sheng nodded and followed Gu Yuqi out of the tub. Then, unable to help herself, she blurted, “Senior Sister Yuqi, your figure’s actually pretty great—especially your legs. So slender and long, heh heh heh…”
“Mm!” Liang Sheng slapped a hand over her mouth.
Oops, she’d almost slipped up. Her inner perv was this close to showing! Not good, not good at all.
Gu Yuqi had already dried off and slipped into her bathrobe. At those words, she leaned against the bathroom sink with keen interest, fixing Liang Sheng with a stare. “Want… Senior Sister to drape her legs over you? Let you look your fill?”
“Yes yes! Cough cough cough! No no no, no need, no need at all. How could I impose like that?” Liang Sheng had shouted out her innermost thoughts.
“Pfft~”
Ding~ Favorability increased.
“Gu Yuqi’s Favorability towards Liang Sheng: 200+”
“You really don’t want to?” Gu Yuqi asked again.
This time, Liang Sheng hesitated slightly. “N-Not… really?”
Gu Yuqi laughed once more. There was something endlessly entertaining about spending time with a silly, airheaded girl like Liang Sheng. “You’re asking me if I want to? This is your decision to make~”
No way. If Gu Yuqi kept pressing, her perv side really would come out.
“L-Let’s go grab something to eat first!” Liang Sheng hurriedly dressed, grabbed Gu Yuqi’s hand, flung open the bathroom door, and bolted without looking back.
Even utterly mortified, the Green-haired Girl still wanted to hold her Senior Sister’s hand while they went foraging~
“Ni Sihan’s room is…” Liang Sheng stared at the rows of identical doors, her eyes crossing in confusion.
Gu Yuqi laughed again at her adorable silliness. “I remember. I’ll lead the way.”
“Right here.” Gu Yuqi and Liang Sheng stood before the door.
Knock knock knock.
Click. The door swung open, revealing Song An’an with a sour expression on her face.
“Ah… A-Sheng!” The instant she spotted Liang Sheng, Song An’an’s face lit up. She threw her arms around the other girl’s arm in a tight hug.
“An’an, where’s Sihan?” Liang Sheng craned her neck, peering into the room.
At the mention of Ni Sihan, Song An’an scowled, clearly displeased. “Oh, she went out a bit ago. No clue what for. A-Sheng, what do you need her for?”
Was A-Sheng interested in Ni Sihan? Song An’an gazed anxiously at her A-Sheng, fretting over potential rivals.
Liang Sheng answered, “Oh, I’m hungry. Wanted to see if I could snag something from the kitchen.”
“Oh, is that all? Hehe~” Her bad mood evaporated as quickly as it had come.
Cough cough! Gu Yuqi covered her mouth with her fist and cleared her throat a few times. She narrowed her eyes at the arm Song An’an had looped around Liang Sheng.
Only then did Song An’an notice Gu Yuqi lurking behind the door. “A-Sheng, she… this Senior Sister’s eating with you too? I’m hungry as well! Can I come along?”
“Ah, sure, of course.” Liang Sheng agreed without a second thought.
Now it was Gu Yuqi’s turn to feel miffed.
Ah~ the possessiveness of girls~
But Gu Yuqi didn’t breathe a word about sharing a room with Liang Sheng. If Song An’an overheard and insisted on tagging along, their private time would be ruined.
They had no idea that Song An’an and Ni Sihan had just waged a little “war” in the room moments ago.
Earlier, Ni Sihan had gone downstairs to fetch chocolate. She’d brought it back up to placate Song An’an.
“An’an~ Won’t you tell me what I said wrong earlier~” Ni Sihan plastered on her sweetest smile. In her eyes, Song An’an might as well have been royalty.
Song An’an had already been fuming that Ni Sihan hadn’t put her and A-Sheng in the same room—and then those green-tea remarks on top of it.
Not only did she not room me with A-Sheng, she had to stick me with her instead. What’s her angle!? Song An’an grumbled to herself. But out of politeness, she kept smiling at Ni Sihan.
“Have a piece of chocolate~” Ni Sihan persisted in her efforts to butter her up.
Song An’an snuck a glance at Ni Sihan, tempted to smash the pretense and ask straight-up if she had a crush on A-Sheng.
“Um… Ni Sihan, do you like… like…” Song An’an faltered.
Ni Sihan’s heart jolted. Her thoughts were miles from Song An’an’s.
She doesn’t think I like her, does she? Is my acting really that convincing? Ni Sihan was utterly baffled. Have I sold it so well that she believes it?
Nope.
“Do you like… like… eating chocolate!?” Song An’an veered wildly off-course, and the innocent chocolates on the table took the blame. “Go on, you eat it. I’m full.”
“…”
Did I get the wrong idea? Ni Sihan tilted her head, but something still felt off.
“Ah~ An’an’s not mad at me anymore, right? We’re still besties?” Ni Sihan scooted closer, reaching for Song An’an’s hand.
Song An’an yanked her hand back on instinct. She recalled those green-tea exposés she’d watched on her phone, and suddenly Ni Sihan looked the part more than ever.
“Mm, mm… still friends.” Whatever. No need to wreck their classmate rapport—just drop it.
“Ah, okay then.” Ni Sihan withdrew her hand awkwardly.
The more she looked at this Pink Hair, the more infuriating she seemed! Ni Sihan clenched her fists under the table.
Silence blanketed the room.
“But, Ni Sihan,” Song An’an ventured, “I only want to be friends with A-Sheng. You could…” You could stop glomming onto me and A-Sheng, right? She figured Ni Sihan would catch her drift.
Ni Sihan didn’t. She took it as a brush-off, which lit her fuse—this Little Crybaby had been handed friendship on a platter and spat in its face. With a sharp scrape of her chair, she shot to her feet, seething. “Song An’an! That’s going too far!”
“Huh?” Song An’an blinked in bewilderment.
“I didn’t—” Before she could explain, Ni Sihan shoved the door open and stormed out.
Song An’an didn’t give chase. She sat there primly instead.
