The interior of the hall was equally ruined, yet curiously, free of any dust.
‘I’ve heard there’s a basic array called the Dust Removal Array, specifically used to prevent dust from accumulating on items left for long periods.’
Bai Sha recalled this fact.
She had previously been covered in quite a bit of dirt, but upon entering the hall, the dust was automatically repelled from her body, leaving her clean in an instant.
Her gaze swept across the hall. Bai Sha found it wasn’t very large.
Beside a cracked wall stood a row of bookshelves, housing ancient-looking tomes.
Nearby was an antique set of table and chairs. A fully clothed skeleton sat on one of the chairs, its upper body slumped over the table, creating a rather chilling scene.
Bai Sha studied the skeleton for a few moments and saw it clutched a token in its hand.
The token was purple, dotted with specks of starlight, exuding an aura of profound mystery.
Bai Sha glanced at the token, then looked away, examining the rest of the hall.
After a full circle, her gaze returned to the skeleton. The hall didn’t contain many items. Aside from the numerous books on the shelves, only the skeleton before her and the token it held were particularly striking.
Bai Sha moved closer to inspect it.
The sect’s grounds were filled with arrays everywhere. Based on her judgment, it was a sect specializing in array research, though she didn’t know how it had been annihilated.
She examined the skeleton. She could only deduce from its bone structure that the person was female in life. Beyond that, nothing else stood out.
Her eyes fell once more on the token in the skeleton’s grasp, a spark of curiosity rising within her.
What could this object be, that the skeleton had held onto it even in death?
Bai Sha extended a pectoral fin, gripped the token, and pulled it free from the skeleton’s hand.
The moment she grasped the token, a scene suddenly flooded her mind, making her freeze on the spot.
“This is…”
Bai Sha carefully examined the mental image, a strong sense of familiarity washing over her.
Encircled by an endless ocean, a lush, verdant island stood tall. And that island… without a doubt, was Lost Island!
A thought flickered through Bai Sha’s mind: ‘Can I get a closer look?’ Immediately, the mental image zoomed in, allowing her to see the details of Lost Island with greater clarity.
This effect startled Bai Sha. Then, thoughtfully, she began to consciously control the transformation of the image in her mind.
Under her direction, the image could shift to anywhere on Lost Island she wished, zooming in and out at will.
“This token actually lets me spy on everything on Lost Island? Hiss… If Lost Island was once a sect, the owner of this token was undoubtedly its Sect Master. Could the Sect Master freely peer into the private lives of their disciples?”
Bai Sha’s expression turned odd.
Through the image in her mind, she could already see many Demon Cultivators who had entered Lost Island. Most were still trapped in the outermost Beach Maze Array.
Bai Sha immediately focused the image on the Beach Maze Array, hoping to find Yin Sha this way.
Ever since joining the White Shark Territory, she had stayed by Yin Sha’s side primarily to observe how Yin Sha broke through to Foundation Establishment, laying the groundwork for her own breakthrough.
“Yin Sha isn’t in the Beach Maze Array? Could she have already entered the next array?”
After quickly scanning the whole Beach Maze Array, Bai Sha was somewhat surprised.
However, while she didn’t find Yin Sha, she spotted the two Demon Cultivators, Lei Ke and Tianxuan. They were still at the border between the Beach Maze Array and the Coconut Grove, studying how to break through the array to enter the grove.
Bai Sha zoomed in further, close enough to see the expressions on Lei Ke and Tianxuan’s faces and even hear their voices.
Lei Ke’s expression was extremely grim. He glared at Tianxuan. “Still not ready? Haven’t I given you enough time?”
Cold sweat beaded on Tianxuan’s forehead. He said nervously, “Almost, almost! It’s really close, just give me a little more time.”
Seeing this, Bai Sha couldn’t help but laugh inwardly.
With the token’s ability to observe Lost Island, Bai Sha also discovered she could influence the island’s arrays.
Thus, she could clearly sense the intact state of the Beach Maze Array and was certain that Tianxuan hadn’t actually figured out how to escape it. His claim of being “almost there” was undoubtedly just a stalling tactic.
Lei Ke was also capable of judging this. He looked at Tianxuan doubtfully, his voice cold and sharp: “You’ve been saying ‘almost there’ for ages. You’ve been at this for so long and it’s still ‘almost there’. You wouldn’t be lying to me, would you?”
Tianxuan secretly gulped, replying, “How could I deceive you? It’s really close, just a bit more time, truly.”
Lei Ke’s expression turned somewhat menacing. “If I find out you’re lying, you’re finished.”
Tianxuan was crying out in his heart, but outwardly he said, “Don’t worry, I have a very clear train of thought now.”
In reality, he had absolutely no clue.
Tianxuan was starting to feel despair. He had no idea what to do and could only keep stalling for as long as possible. But continuing to delay like this clearly wasn’t a viable solution.
Just then, Tianxuan suddenly froze, a look of surprise appearing on his face.
Under his observation, the influence of the Beach Maze Array in the area ahead had suddenly vanished. What was going on?

Lei Ke keenly noticed the change in Tianxuan’s expression and immediately barked a question.
Tianxuan was a bit baffled but still said, “The array ahead has been lifted. We can proceed to the next area.”
“Lifted?”
Lei Ke was surprised. He hadn’t seen Tianxuan do anything, yet the array was broken?
Though puzzled, Lei Ke grabbed Tianxuan with one claw and flapped his wings, flying toward the Coconut Grove.
As he flew, Lei Ke said, “You’re quite capable after all. Breaking the next arrays will be up to you.”
Tianxuan inwardly groaned in misery.
He had no idea how the array had been deactivated. It felt like the array had deliberately opened a path to let them in. He had no confidence in dealing with the arrays to come.
Naturally, it was Bai Sha who had opened the array.
Holding the token, she could now manipulate the arrays of Lost Island, making it trivial to temporarily disable a section of the Beach Maze Array.
She did this because she naturally hoped Lei Ke would venture deeper into the island’s heart.
Lei Ke had tried to kill her earlier. She wasn’t about to pretend that never happened. She lacked the power to settle that score personally, but using Lost Island’s arrays, the outcome would be different.
